Epic

This super cute couple has been dating for over a year and Lori needed something fun and different to give Jeff as a gift. Lori owns a cycling fitness center called Epic Ryde, the premier indoor cycling studio in Denver and they are both very active. This piece shows the couple with his sweet son, adopted from Korea and things that they like to do. I wish them all the best in their future together!

Grandkids

I was contacted my my Uncle, back in September or October, to create a Christmas gift for his wife, my Aunt. I was honored! He wanted something that had all the grandkid’s names on it and that was the only request. After doing some pondering, I found a great quote about being a grandparent and decided on a house for the main theme. Home is where the heart is you know. Especially a grandparent’s home!

Birdie Rescue

A friend posted a photo of her young son that had caught a bird in their yard. It was probably the cutest kid photo I’ve ever seen in my life and I was instantly inspired to draw it. Since we’ve had some warmer days up here in Colorado I wanted to get it finished. It is now my official Spring poster child (pun intended.) I admit that I did make some color changes along the way. I don’t think there are any of these birds free flying around Tennessee where they live, but I wanted the bird to go with the beautiful big blue eyes. Everything else just needed to be bright and “springy.”

PocketLovey

I am excited to announce that custom Kirby Inks are now available for purchase on the new PocketLoveys! What’s a PocketLovey you ask? It’s much more than a traditional security blanket, it’s also a pillow, a storage pouch for items such as pacifiers or trinkets, and a toy in itself—all wrapped up into one neat little package.

I created these just for use on the PocketLoveys so you won’t find them anywhere else. Get yours today!

Vail fun

This was a gift for a family building a home in Vail. A snapshot of the three kids, their interests and the views in beautiful Vail. The robin was thought to be grandma’s spirit, who seemed to always hang around the family.

Turning One

A lot was happening for this family (the Project Bliss family.) Their little boy was turning one and they were moving to Washington DC. I wanted to capture it all.

SOLD

Project Bliss

I love the family that ordered this piece. Not only because they could open a gallery with all the Kirby Inks they have, but because of the passion that they live their life with. This piece captures the fun time that they took off from their careers to spend with their son. How cool is that?!

SOLD

Madison

A guy I worked with wanted to get a unique gift made for his young niece Madison. She loved flowers, rainbows and the color red, loved to swing and draw, and especially loved her pets: stuffed elephant “Cha-Cha” and hamster “Sparkles Lavender”

SOLD

Logan’s Jungle

A baby shower gift. All the animals in the jungle are gathering around to welcome the baby to the world.
