Life is Good
A dear friend’s wife asked me to create the perfect birthday piece that would show all of the great things happening in his life. This was not an easy task! I ended up going with a quilt-like theme using “stitches” to join each of the roles together. My favorite part is the special haiku that surrounds him, written by his sweet wife.

I first created this piece in honor of my step brother before he was deployed overseas. As the years went by, I joined up with Operation Shower, a great non profit organization that hosts baby showers for moms who’s husbands are either being deployed or are already overseas. This is my signature piece that I donate to all of those new military moms in appreciation of the sacrifice their husbands make for our country.
The good life
This was a fun one! Ordered by a friend for another friend’s birthday, it was a challenge I must admit. I wanted to incorporate his race car, some of the track he drives on, his new company’s logo and the names of his precious girls. All in one piece.
